I've have been seeing many pregnant mums coming for classes from smile to frown. As the days are flying pass into the third trimester, problems and discomforts starts to arise more obviously one by one.
Especially, the misalignments and post posture of the body. The belly gets heavier, with water retention in the body and the increasing body weight by days.... the already misaligned posture becoming bad to worst. Most of us are carrying some issues of imbalance, while during pregnancy, the impact is magnified.
Not able to sit, lay down and stand for too long; sharp pinching pain shooting from the lower back that runs along to the knees..... are some of the common issues face by many mums. One mum told me she even have to sleep sitting up, she could not lay down anymore; and thus loss of quality sleep.
If the pains are affecting your daily motion and routine, don't live with it, deal with it.
Other than prenatal classes, pregnant mums can compliment the body health with chiropractic healing.
Pregnancy chiropractic doesn't seem too common in Singapore as compared to the US; but its a great healing option too.
If your already in a prenatal class, talk to your teacher about your conditions; there are many simple exercise you can practice daily on your own:)
If you intend to search for chiropractic healing hands, please check if the doctor is certified to give adjustment for pregnant ladies.
A happy mums is the reason for a happy baby!
